Based in the suburbs north of Chicago, Blue Truth has quickly become a popular powerhouse of rollicking rock, evocative blues and blue-eyed soul.

Guitarist Gary Gand has been called the "Jeff Beck" of Chicago blues, and his virtuosity is the product of over 30 years on the Chicago music scene, both live and studio.

Joan Gand is best known for her keyboard work in the 70's prog rock band Graced Lightning, and has returned to her roots to play classic Hammond B-3 Booker T-style organ.

Veteran bassist Ari Mintz has played and recorded in numerous bands, and adds his melodic style along with dynamic stage presence.

Drummer Bill Shaffer is known as one of the top drummers in Chicago, playing with Jump n the Saddle, the Riptones and numerous others over the years.

Special guests include Graham Nelson on harp and vocals, Scott Van Wagner on Sax, and local vocalists Vanessa Davis, and "Shortstack" Steve Temkin, among others.
